Welding screws are also called energy storage screws, electric bolt welding studs, or welding nails. Welded screws are used in a small range and are used in the sheet metal industry and in the production of the chassis.

Although the use of welding screws and rivet screws is the same, the principle of use is quite different.

The rivet screw is fixed by its own locking embossing tooth, and the welding screw is a small point of welding on the head of the screw. The spot welding technology is used to weld the screw to the sheet metal to fix it. An external thread so-called a welding screw.

 

The round head of the rivet screw has an embossed design under the head of the rivet screw. It is formed by the cold pier process and the production speed is very fast, so the manufacturing cost is relatively low, and the installation method is quicker and simpler.


When using, open a small hole slightly larger than the thread on the sheet metal (the specific size should match the diameter of the embossing under the head of the rivet screw), put the rivet screw into the hole, and use the riveting equipment in the product.


The head can be pressed evenly downwards. When the rivet screw is pressed into the sheet metal, the embossed ribs with an inclined angle under the head of the screw will engage with the sheet metal base to form a permanent and firm thread.
