The rivet screw is a fastener used on sheet metal.
The riveting screws are derived from the special hardware parts produced by PEM/TEXTRON and other companies in the United States for the telecommunications industry, sheet metal industry, electronic appliances and other products. The riveting screws currently produced in China are all produced according to the PEM standard.
The material of the rivet screw is generally made of carbon steel and SUS304 stainless steel. The rivet screws of carbon steel material need to be heat treated and galvanized after production.
During use, a small hole is required in the base body, and the rivet screw is placed in the hole, and the rivet pressing device is parallel and evenly pressed on the head, and the rivet is embossed under the head of the rivet screw. When pressed in, the base body is deformed around the rivet screw, and the dent is bitten, thereby forming a firm external thread.
